Geforce 7800GT to arrive on 11th of August

Why is there so much hate for the INQ? Aside that Bill Gates at one time must have beat them all up for them to hate Microsoft.

I find the INQ does a pretty good job when everyone else has nothing to report.

Well theyve reported on 4 completely different specs of the R520 so far. Its hard to be wrong when you guess ALL OF THE POSSIBLE SPECS.

Question: Whats 1+1?

INQ: our sources tell us its either 1, 2, or 3 through 4000

Too bad the Inq sucks.

not for the last 2 years .. . they are more often "rignt" than wrong - if the details often escape them in their predictions.

Too bad AT doesn't have a "rumour page" 😉

I just read their past postings and it was Inno3D that stated the specs and if you look back in the INQ 7800gt they even talk about price dropping. Occasionally they do pre post something a little off but they usually arent that bad when every other site has nothing to post.

the INQ is an awesome website. They have been right most of the time and i think ATI changed the specs few time when they found issues with 90mn and 32 pipelines. Anyways if ATI release only R520 in August they will loose alot of money. They need a R510 with the launch i think. If Nvidia release 7800GT in early august then i am sorry for ATI because it will have huge problems with selling R520. I can see why would nvidia want to hurry the launch of 7800GT and maybe even reduce the launch price. It would do a Serious blow to ATI. Anyways i am hopping the R520 can annihilate 7800GTX in every benchmark.

couldnt have said it better...7800GT for $399 should really damage ATI atleast for the time being considering the fact that it outperforms both GF6 and X850XT.

its always better to read something rather than nothing...they keep our minds pondering all the time on next generation parts.
