also, their rebate's "Division" doesn't seem to be working. My brother got a 7800 GT awhile ago, back with that free COD2 copy, and still hasn't seen his rebate in the mail. It's been since November.

I never used their phone support, but their email support is amazingly fast. I'm sure they are trying to discourage phone calls, and when they email you back in minutes, there is no real need for a phone call.

Is a good price after the rebate. XFX is known for their XXX series and is considerably cheaper than eVGA and BFG at overclocked speeds.

eVGA provides good support from what I hear, BFG has great warranties and support. I'm sure they all probably make about the same profit margin.

And I'll have to keep in mind they have good email support, usually when the phone support sucks I don't try the email support. And really, email support, even if it's stellar, is a poor substitute for supporting your customers over the phone, IMO.

Have him call up the rebate center. The same thing happened to me with my xfx 7800gt as they never showed they got the rebate. I called up, the lady put the request in and I recieved my check last week.

make sure you still have all the info you sent.
