Recently I bought a PC from ibuypower.com, and after an crapload of problems I finally got the PC working perfectly, no fusses or anything.

However, when I ordered the computer I ordered a 6800XT 256MB, but when it came it had a 7300GT 512MB. I'm not a fussy guy, so I didn't really give a damn and figured the difference was negligible. I was talking to my friend about the computer and he said I got ripped off and should call ibuypower back to get it traded in as a 6800.

Is the 6800 that much better than a 7300? I'm running most of my games quite well, though others are running at low-level settings. Is it worth the trouble to send it in, or is the difference between the two cards no big deal?

Whoa, wait a minute...They seem about the same... Except that the 7300GT is clocked a little bit slower....and its 128-bit. At least it has SLI capabilities.

a 7300gt should be about equal to a 6800xt in performance. there should be a lot of headroom to OC on the 7300gt, you could squeeze out some extra performance that way :)

Well, both cards are 8 pipe cards, and close to each other on clock speed. I am not a picky person, so I would probably not send it in myself, but that is entirely up to you.
