Geforce 6800NU AGP power hungry?

Was thinking about dropping one in a XP 2800+ Compaq but am not sure if the PSU will handle it. Am sure it's only like a 200-250watt.

300 sounds like a safe number. I assume your P4 is a prescott, too?

I honestly messed up I meant a AMD XP 2800+ if that matters

It should be doable. The 6800NU was a relatively low-power consuming video card.
