GeForce 6800GT with 128M DDR?

Does anyone know anything about this card? This card has GeForce 6800GT core but comes with 128MB DDR memory. Core clock is 350MHz and Memory clock is 700MHz(350MHz DDR). Is this card faster than GeForce 6800NU? What do you think?

Omg what the hell happened to ASUS?!? Are they all high or something??? First a 6800 that costs same as any GT, now a GT with memory that can't keep up... I've got no idea what's going on anymore.

Very interesting. Good find.

We're gonna see many variations in the next few months. Kinda ticks me off, cause I'm buying "something" tomorrow...

SO if you have to choose between 6800NU and this pricy card, Which one would you get?

Non of them, just look for another manufacturer such as BFG and buy a real GT.

SO it's basically a 16 pipe 6800 at NU speeds? Not worth it imo. Someone underclock their GT and see what it does, I doubt it's much better then the 6800NU in most situations...

DDR3 ram too.

Typical ASUS: overcharge for similar (or worse) technology (the V9999 6800nu with 256MB of GDDR3 for the same price as most GT's) or charge the competitor's price for a worse product.

I like ASUS motherboards a lot (which IMO used to be the best in the business, but now are second to at least A-bit), but I think the company is very arrogant and thinks their products are the best, even though they have been slipping as of late.

Side rant:

The A7V133, A7V266, CUSL2/TUSL2, P3V4X, P3B, P2B were all examples of ASUS boards that were top in their class, IMO. The A7N8X is right up there and was the top before Abit trumped them with their second effort, the NF7-S 2.0 in the Nforce2 arena.

However, recently Abit has bested them with the IS7/IC7 series (vs. the P4P800/P4C800), and ASUS is not showing signs of becoming the undisputed champ anytime soon.

Heh...I probably would have bought this over the regular GT to save a $100. I would think at higher resolutions/quality settings this card would differentiate itself from the 6800NU.
