Hi guys

My first post here...

I hope you can help me, I have a question regarding the possibility of using/upgrading my pc with a Geforce 6800GT graphic card, but as I have a Intel 845PE chipset, witch only support 4xAGP, I'm not sure if that will make a bottleneck in my pc, or if I can use it until I get myself a new PC next summer?

My current pc.

P4 2.533@3097MHz
Asus P4PE
2x512 pc2700 (Kingston)
Geforce 5950 Ultra (Leadtek)
120 GB ATA 100 Seagate
80 GB ATA 133 Maxtor
Audigy Player

You can run a 6800 on a 4x AGP bus just fine the difference between 4x and 8x is maybe 1-2 fps. It will not bottleneck you very much at all using the 4x bus.

Thanks :)

I know it's not a problem for my 5950, but I wasn?t sure about the 6800GT...
