geforce 6800 ultra power req

i read that the geforce 6800 ultra needs two power connectors and that nvidia recommends a 480w psu.
does that mean that if i have a 350w power supply it won't work on my pc?

depends on the rails, i believe the system will get to windows, but once you start a 3d game, it'll just cut back to windows.

i'm gettinn a new rig with an antec sonata case that has a 380w psu (got that wrong last post)

that's f***ed up... i have to get a 480 psu?!?

the antec 380w will be fine for the 6800ultra

The new Antec 380w has 24amps on the +12v line 😉

all i have is one hd and a cdrw

if all u have is 1 cdrw and 1 hd you will be fine, more than enough connectors.
