If anyone can suggest, getting a 3 beeps when it starts up. Extra 12v is connected (I think....altho i get no vga, the hard drive sounds like it's still booting into windows)

The bios has 1/2/4x agp settings, I think the card is 8..? foxconns website says 8x supported. have just updated the bios, but still only goes to 4x......altho since updating the bios I haven't tried booting up again with the 6800 (have to transfer vga cooler) (via kt600 chipset)

failing that....does anyone know what budget agp geforce model to go for, mainly to play hi def mkv movies please 🙂 no gaming.....'planned' (yet).

From some wiki'ing, I take it the 7 series is the last agp....so something like the 7600 maybe
