Hey, I am looking for a 6600 GT, and I came across eVGA 6600 GT and FXF 6600 GT, the price difference where i am buying them is only a few dollars, so if some one could point out the difference that would be great. Also, I don't really know how to OC video cards, so I would prefer the card better from graphics
 
eVGA gets my vote. XFX makes crap products and has crap service from my experiences, I think most everyone on ATOT would agree.
 
I had an EVGA 6600GT and it was a good card.
I have heard bad things about XFX, but I don not have personal exp. with them. So take that for what it's worth.
 
eVGA because their warranty is better. My XFX hasn't caused me any problems yet and runs quite well so their products aren't as bad as people might tell you here.

Anyway, might get more info doing a search (haven't done one myself yet) but from what I've been reading Evga has a lifetime warranty, and is generally a very good card. The xfx comes factory overclocked a little. Most peeps here would go with the Evga card. When I buy one I'm gonna go MSI because it has the cables & software I want. Just waiting for the price to come down a bit. 🙂
 
I like BFG better than both.. eVGA is probably safest, but doesn't XFX come with a DOUBLE life warranty? (If you sell your card, the buyer gets lifetime warranty also)

I agree XFX isn't as bad as the people on here make them out to be. They also have a great warranty....lifetime. I wouldn't believe that hype that goes on here, I noticed so many people bashing XFX, they have some great products now.

evga just has better products, and for the couple more dollars it's a better buy.

I actually own an EVGA 7800GTX in my rig that I put together a month ago or so. I do very much like EVGA products!!!! I just don't think all the XFX bashing on here is warranted at all, I have worked with their new products in a couple machines I put together as well as delt with the customer service at XFX. I have had great experience with them, so I wouldn't take to heart all the negative comments about XFX that most people here seem to say.
 
EVGA man. I had a horror story with a 6600gt of theirs a while back, 3 rmas and it just wouldn't sork with my system. In the end, they payed all shipping (next day air) and gave me a 6800 at no charge.

Their service is unbeatable.
 
evga. xfx sucks. i have an xfx 6600gt. there is no support. the cooler completely sucks, and its just low quality.

Yep eVGA is a great choice, it's a shame all the fanboys on here put down XFX soooo much, they really are not bad products.
