Geforce 6600 256MB TV-Out?

Hey guys. I recently bought a computer from MagicMicro.com .. I got an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ processor, et cetera, et cetera, and a Geforce 6600 256MB video-card... Now, when I got it, it came with a cable for the TV-Out.. However, the cable doesn't seem to fit into where it's supposed to.. Has anyone ever heard of this? Can I somehow be over-looking something?

you might be talking about the S-video out, make sure your television is capable of accepting of that kind of table

No, what I meant was.. I can't insert the cable into the PC... the yellow part goes to the TV fine, but the other end doesn't fit into the video-card...

you sure about it, I have a 6600 also right in my hands. Try make sure all the pins perfectly matched to the holes of the vid cards s-video out.

Well, yes, I was looking at the pins, and they didn't appear that they would fit..

Hmm the cable should have a black end and yellow one. The yellow goes to the tv. and the black must go to the vid card. here's what mines look like

without a plastic from the bottom.

Yes, I'm sure it's the right cable.. it's just the pins don't seem like they would match.. Inside the cable, there are 4 pins, and below them a tiny strip of plastic.. Is that what yours looks like too?

That sounds like a standard s-video cable config. Just make sure you have it oriented right and plug it in.

Well, I'm sure I don't lack the skill to slide a cable into it's properly allocated slot, so something must be off.. Do you think if I break off that small piece of plastic on the inside of the video-card's end of the cable, that it will make a difference?
