I just got a GF 6200 card in my machine. It is connected to my Mitsubish 60" HDTV through RGBHV. Sadly, the screen is 4:3, so the 1080i display mode doesn't work very well. The extra width hangs over on both sides. Is it possible using cool bits or any other program to force the video card to shrink the image so it fits nicely inside my 4:3 without too much overscan?

I'm connecting to my tv through RGBHV instead of the usual YPrPb. It is the regular vga out on the video card. Do I need to switch it to the componenet output to make adjustments?

Check out the AVS forums... You will find many people doing what you are attempting... They also pull their hair out from frustration. Seriously, check out those forums, they should be a big help for you.
