Geforce 5900 stopped working

My computer wouldn't boot with my 5900 in so I swapped it for a 4800 in one of my other computers. My computer then booted and the other computer booted with the 5900 in it. I swapped the 5900 back in thinking maybe the molex was loose on it and it wasn't getting power because thats exactly how it is acting but it still wouldn't boot. I booted with and without the power connected to it and it acted the same way....ok....so why isn't it getting power....thats what I thought....I used different connectors.....shut down all fans and cd rom drives but it still won't fire up with the 5900 anymore. It has been fine for months.
I'm going to try another ps......any ideas?
 
yes ...very weird...I have a spare ps and I'm going to try and fire up with my spare ps powering the 5900 and see what happens....
