Alright thanks guys. Not sure how prices go on older cards, only been keeping up with the newer cards. Trying to find me something to hold me over till i can build a new rig, old geforce2 finally kicked the bucket.

Don't expect to play any new games on it, but I don't see what's wrong with this card for 59 dollars. According to the description, it has VIVO. Name another card that has VIVO for less than 60?

Just buy a ti4200 from the fs forum for the same price. It'll kick this thing and the ultra version to the ground.

5200 is a real turd.... A friend bought one on a co-workers reccomendation, and I cringed... In Doom3 with everything turned all the way down, we managed to squeak out 10FPS.... Then we put my old GF3 in the computer, didn't change a thing, and hit almost double the rates!

FX5200 is a decent card if you don't want to play the very latest games. It's hard to find a VIVO and a DX9 card for much lower than that. Also, there are 64-bit and 128-bit versions, it looks like PTCvette got a 64-bit. The 128-bit ones, and especially if you find an Ultra, are capable of playing many recent games. Somebody advised to get a Ti4200, but those are useless if you need DX9.

$59 with free shipping is OK if you need it in a hurry. Not hot, but not ice cold either. You'll see many FX5200s on Ebay going for more than that. You'll probably find better prices on Newegg or Zipzoomfly, though.
