Geforce 4 ti4600 $199.00 at computer geeks

WOW !! great price on retail Box, I got me one - THANKS BurningDog
Visiontek is bankrupt though - maybe thats why 1 yr warranty

They are the same Cards. The heatsink fan shown at compgeeks is different thats all. The V probably means it has VIVO, video in video out.

About $100.

Retail is $300 (since the "price drop)

Retail for the 4400 is $250

4200 is $200

Should i get this or an aiw radeon 8500 for $150?

prices are a little off there

4200 ~ 160
4400 ~ 200
4600 ~ 250

Those prices are straight off of Pricewatch so take them with a grain of salt. The previous poster was mentioning retail prices, and I still see 4600s going for 300+ at stores.

Anyhow, thanks for the heads-up, I ordered one! They seem pretty reliable as far as shipping the product goes, so I hope it's smooth. Anyone know about overclocking this particular card?

Somehow I doubt it.

I guess someone looked on pricewatch, but did not research enough.

There is no TI4200 128 for 114, read the fine print. It says 128 avail.
The least expensive 128 is maybe 135-145

I just bought a Gainward Ultra 650XP Geforce 4 Ti4200 128MB DDR Tv/Dvi Out Tv In RETAIL BOXED!! Golden Sample.
for 171.75 w/ shipping from linkster
I should have it early next week, Ill post how it performs.

It has VIVO and DVI.
Highly OC'able, guaranteed b/c it is an xp golden sample version. People have been able to clock it to 4600 speed and faster on Winmark and fps in many games.
Almost same features as in AIW without the cable tuner in it.

and Gainward isn't bankrupt yet so they will be around for a while with a warranty.

only thing I wish it had was heatsinks on the memory, but that is a no brainer to do.

i've got that card. i guess it's OK for overclocking, but with the stock cooling you're not gonna reach 4600 speeds. the highest i can get is 310/540

Just got a chaintech ti4600 for $250 shipped. I had to pay CA tax from Newegg. Runs pretty decent @320/730 so far. Thought about returning it for this card but for the hassle i doubt its worth it. BTW does the geeks charge tax in CA? This might be worth getting for a 2nd system.....

Hot deal. It's got VIVO!!

On another note, did anyone look at the minimum "specs" for this card? "266 MHz or higher CPU / 64MB of RAM". LOLOLOL.
