Hey guys,
need a lil help here -- just bought a GF4 128MB (from another member) (pre-mod to 305/450??)
I uninstalled my video drivers
Powered down
Swap cards
Power on
Reinstall the latest Nvidia's drivers
Restarted
After about 10 mins, it started making these little fuzzes on my monitor, weird artifacts -- kinda like it's breaking down, and I'm just surfing the web...
So I figured, must be a bad driver -- so I reinstalled the drivers, reinstalled DirectX, after awhile I reimaged my PC
Same stuff...now it's happening when it first boots
So I left the machine to go watch TV, I come back up -- decided to reboot to try running it on Safe mode instead -- now it won't even go to POST..
I put in my GF3 Ti 500 and it works fine, could there be some settings in the BIOS or could my motherboard be incompatible?
Help, thanks
Shuttle AV41P motheboard
1GB of PC3200 RAM
450W Powersupply (1 month old)
Windows XP w/SP1
Debian Linux 2.x kernel
EDIT: Oh I tried using RivaTuner to tune it down to 290Mhz -- doesn't help, so I left it alone.
