I recently built an Tbird 1400 computer with a Geforce 4 Ti4200 8x and I install a Zalman ZM17-Cu with Artic Adesive and no fan. This heatsink come really hot in Idle and just a little bit more in Full and curioustly the ram is hot too and my display is verry swell with no problem.
What is the max temp this chip can support without damage ?
What is the consequense of keeping it hot (more than 65) ? Short life ?
