I know this is a double post but I wasn't getting any responces in the OC forum so I apologize here's the situation

I'm not sure how many of you use winfox to overclock your GF 4s but I can squeeze another 400 points out of 3dmark2001 over clocking my gpu to 328/300mhz and my mem to 668/648 mhz. If I try to overclock anymore the benchmark temporarily freezes and then skips ahead when it comes back. I have had no experience with increasing the voltage to any component of my pc, and frankly I'm not sure if I want to, but would that be the next logical step at this point? or can I push it a little bit further. I think the problem I am running into is a information bottleneck with the architecture rather than running a risk of pushing things too far. I'm wondering is winfox decent software to use to overclock? What does everyone else use? and how far do you push your GF4 TI4600?

thanks much

I use the "coolbits" registry hack to OC with the Nvidia control panel. I have my Visiontek 4600 @ 315/720 (card came with 700 MHz memory downclocked to 650).

I use powerstrip to overclock my ti4200. I've gotten it to 294/594 and I'm sure it can go higher, but I didn't bother pushing it. Usually I run mine at stock, since I'm happy with the performace I get. I just overclock to see what kind of performance increase you can get. I've never used (nor have I ever heard of) winfox, but as long as you like it it should be ok to overclock with.
