Given a Dell Dimension 4500 computer with GeForce 4 MX video card installed, running under Win XP --
Would there likely be any compatibility issues were I to add an ATI TV Wonder PCI card to the system?
My goal is to be able to run my cable tv cable into the card and (1) watch tv on my computer; (2) use the computer as essentially a digital VCR, and record programs in AVI, MPEG-2, and related formats, saving them to the hard drive.
I'm asking, as it occurs to me that since my computer's video card isn't an ATI, I could run into some problems. Nor do I know whether Win XP drivers exist for the TV Wonder (although XP has been out for a while now, so I'm probably worried about nothing).
Thanks for the advice.
