I have this video card for my computer and can't seem to change the resolution in games I play like Warcraft III and Halo. Games are locked to the lowest resolution: 640 x320 or something similar. Is this a known problem and do I have to replace my video card to be able to change resolution? It is very important to me because objects that are too big in FPS make me dizzy and in RTS, you need to see the maximum gaming area. Many thanks to you in advance !!

Make sure you have the latest drivers. Are you sure you're monitor is capable of supporting anything higher btw?

d/l em at www.nvidia.com

BTW you should try asking this question in the "general hardware" forum.:)

Go buy a new graphics card if you can afford it. An MX420 is designed for people who browse the internet all day, not gamers. If you can afford it, go get a 9600 XT or a 5700 Ultra. If you can't, get a 9200 pro or a ti4200. And if you can't afford those, start saving your pennies.

Actually, the MX420 was designed for OEMs so that they could put it in their bargain boxes and slap huge "OMGZ GEFROCE FOUR POWARED!!1!!!1!1!" advertising all over the place. :D
