I read from this site that the Geforce 4 Ti1000 will use an 8X AGP interface. Does that mean the people without AGP 8X slots (which is almost all of us) will not be able to run the card without upgrading our motherboards?

It'll probably be backward compatible to AGP 1X,2X & 4x. You 'll have buy a new board that is AGP 8x compliant to take advantage of the GF4 AGP8x feature.

Yeah, thats Probally how its going to be.
If your Motherboard doesnt' support 8x AGP, it'll probally run at the MotherBoards Max (4x, 2x).

My GF2MX could run at 4x AGP, but my old motherboard didn't support it, So it would only Run at 2x AGP.
