MSI GEFORCE 4 TI4200 128MB DDR AGP TV OUT/DVI RETAIL BOX
$289 Canadian - $180 USD

MSI GEFORCE 4 TI4200 64MB DDR AGP TV OUT/DVI RETAIL BOX
$236 Canadian - $148 USD

MSI GeForce3 TI200 128MB DDR VIVO RETAIL BOX
$209 Canadian - $131 USD

I'm wondering which is better, and how much RAM affects...

I'm leaning to the GeForce3, its the same chipset as the 4, the Ti200 overclocks to Ti500 speeds, it has 128mb ram, the worst GeForce4 Ti with 128mb ram costs nearly $100 more. So i'd proberally go with the 3 since I'm on a tight budget

But, The GeForce 4 Ti4200 with 64mb is around the same price but it has half the ram, so i'm basically wondering if i should get the low-end GeForce 4 Ti4200 64MB or the high-end GeForce 3 Ti200(500) 128MB

Looking forward to opinions

If u are looking to get a card really soon - get a gf4 ti4200 128mb. If you already have a geforce 3, don't upgrade. If you want to wait for better cards - get radeon 9700 or nv30.

Im not sure what you are talking about, but the geforce 3 and geforce 4 dont have the "same chipsets." The GF4 ti200 will OWN the GF3 in every possible way. As for me, i would go for the 64meg GF4, since it has faster memory, and i would never keep a video card long enough that i would play games on it that actually took advantage of that memory (using 128mb textures). But then again, thats just me, i upgrade way too much.

Good luck,
