GeForce 3 Ti500 has interference problems.. anybody else get it?

BOught it yesterday at BestBuy it was an unopened package. I believe its from Leadtek (its that green box).
Anyway its giving interference lines in windows. I do not see them in dos though.. it seems ultra clear there.

Any idea what's going on?

The system is a Tyan Tiger MP with 1.2Ghz MP's and the Geforce and lots more goodies.

I vaguely remember info on interference probs there.

What card did you have in your system before your G3? And did you uninstall the previous drivers (add/remove &/or remove program provided by v-card manufacturer)?

If it?s only doing this in Windows and not when you are actually playing a game, then I can only speculate that it could be because of older drivers some how affecting your new G3. What version of Windows are you using (sounds like 98SE)?

If it's from BB, its a visontek btw(That's all we carry for the ti500s).

gotta make sure your mobo bios is updated.
