geforce 3 ti200 tv out help.

I have an old machine that I thought i will fix it up and hook it up to my TV for watching digital movies. Now I have problem getting the TV out to work. The card that I have is geforce 3 ti200 from pny (but I found out that it's actually made by msi). The problem is that I can get the computer to detect the TV and get signal onto TV. HOwever, the singal on TV is not stable, it keeps moving from the bottom of the screen to the top (kinda like you know when you have a stripe running through the monitor).
The TV works when I turn on the monitor and when it boot into windows (I can see windows the bar that's running across the screen when it boot into windows and welcome screen, but after that the vertical stripe comes and I can really read anything on the monitor despite the images)

I have tried different drivers, 4x.xx 5x.xx and the latest. I found out that if I use 4x.xx, the TV out wo'nt work as it will just stuck, 6x.xx works better as I can see color of the desktop but the flicker made all the images and icon unreadable.

Can someone help me with this? thanks.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Is the screen itself moving from bottom to top on your T.V. or is there a bar running through an otherwise stable image?

If it's a bar you might have a ground loop and maybe this could help.

If the image itself is cycling up the screen I don't know what to suggest.

Have you messed with all the NVidia settings. Seems to me there was a check box I had to check for that to happen. Full screen something-or-other...It's been a long time, sorry. Also, try using a VCR as the middle-man and using channel 00 (video). Also, you might try going farther back in drivers....23.?? if memory serves.

thanks so much for the replies. Well, it looks like the screen is moving from top to bottom. It's kinda like when you have an old TV set and you have to tune the reception to stabilize the picture.

I will try the 23.xx driver to see. I have tried 29, 30, 40, even the latest 60 and no success.
