I dunno what this means, i don't understand french, but there is a GF3 pic up there. I havn't seen it on the forums, I havn't seen it on the main Anandtech page, and I havn't seen it on nvidia.com

Anyone have a translator or something we can slap to this article?

chablozjf, one of our Switzerland readers, has just forwarded to us a photograph which could be that of the 3D Prophet III 64 Mo of Hercules based on the future GPU of NVIDIA which will name GeForce 3 if I believe this photograph of it.





The image that we received seems to be scannée and its quality is rather poor. We do not know his exact source, it is difficult to say if it is a real or adulterated photograph.

Only thing I suspect is, the name of the card, and it hasn't been posted/discussed before.

I can't tell if the picture is real or not. Here is the link to the picture. I find it interesting that the active cooling is a blorb. I remember hearing something about the cooling on the GeForce 3 being a blorb. It was along time ago though, so I may be crazy or something.

Thats not a Blorb, its the standard Hercules GF2Pro/GF2Ultra hs/f combo.
Other than the card itself, that box looks pretty real to me

PRODUCTION STARTED 3 DAYS AGO. I heard from an inside source. The Card is suppose to hit the shelves in 7 days

Even here in the UK for $600 i can get:

8mb Mem Card
Extra controller
3 games.

Considering my GeForce2 GTS is still doing fine on every single game i have atm i think i'll go for the PS2 option
