Geforce 256 DDR vs. Geforce 2 MX

Hello ,

I thought of buying GeForce 2 MX , but after reading a review at IXBT labs, I found that Geforce 256 DDR are better in every test over Geforce 2 MX ... well, it a little more expensive , but not very much ...

what would you say I should buy ?

or maybe there any other alternatives in this price range ?

Geforce 2 MX is a good card from a performance to price point of view but if you're looking for better 32bit colour performance and at high resolutions, go for a Geforce 256 DDR. If you don't mind running 16bit colour then the MX is fine. Another thing to remember is that the Geforce 256 cards had some problems with certain motherboards due to power consumption.

I believe the Radeon 32Mb DDR is the best buy at the moment though.
