Hi guys

Currently got a 400 mhz Celery with 192 mb of ram, with a TNT2 M64. Wondering if I pick up a Ti (can get for about 220 Aus ($110 US) will this make games like DOD 2.0 and CS etc run better? I can barely run DOD 2.0 on 640x480.
Would this be the 'best' upgrade option, other than buying a new board and cpu of course :)

Thanks

hey man.... buying a gf2 will speed up your games but not to quite what you think it will....... untill you get a new cpu no matter what vid card you get will not perform optimally on your system

You might want to buy a nice Heat sink + fan and overclock the celery once you get the new video card. I have a similar problem to what i expect you'll have with a GF2 that of the cpu being a bottle neck. Whenever i o/c'd the video card nothing happened but i got good improvements from a bit of clock speed tweaking.
