Ok, I need to know should I get a GeForce 2 pro, or spend another 50 bucks and get a Ti. I want this card for a year or two till I can get another really good card. I was thinking about the GF 3 line, but they are TOO expensive. Also, are Ultras cheap?

EDIT : OOPS. Sorry, forgot to mention that I need to get the card withing the next month, because that is the time when I will be in the states (I live in Tanzania, and I am coming home for christmas)

Just for reference, I have a P4 1700, with (when I buy it) 256 mb of rdram.

I know this won't satisfy your question, but I'd TRULY wait a bit longer, save up a couple of more bucks and get a GF 3 Ti 200 based video card as THAT will last you another 1-2 yrs, the others surely won't..

On PriceWatch the GF2 Ti is going for almost exactly the same price as the Pro, where are you getting it that you need to pay $50 more?

Given how bandwidth limited the GF2 core is the Ti would only yield you maybe a n extra 1-2FPS so it's definitely not worth the extra money.
