after 2 months of trying to get the card to work. i finally decided to try it one more time before throwing it out. When i put it in it finally worked and i was so happy.
now the extremely bad part. artifacts started showing up when xp begins to load, so i checked to see if teh HS/Fan was work properly and it was. so i turned off my computer, gave it a rest and started it back up. thats when i realize artifacts are showing up in while it was doing the ram check etc etc. so i go into bios. and i probed the back of the card. It was going at 60C!!! even while idling in bios. this card has never ran that hot even in the summer with all the windows closed. the ram was also too hot to touch.
any thought of what could be wrong with this thing?
i also reapplied AS on the thing but its still idles at 60c
