I don't know that you'll find any specific reviews focusing on 2D quality but if that 2D is your primary concern in a Vcard, then the Geforce2 is not the chip to be considering.
You want to go with either Radeon or a Matrox card. The biggest complaint about the GF2 series has been it's very poor 2D at higher resolutions.
From what I've read, it you must buy a Geforce2 card knowing 2D is going to less than stellar, than the Elsa's seem to be the best. I believe it has to do with the filters each card manufacturer uses.
Supposedly Nvidia tightened up quality standards for the GF3 and all card makers must you better quality filters on the GF3 leading to much better 2D quality. Some claim the 2D on the GF3 is on par with the Radeons, which is very good.
