Geforce 2 MX question (bandwith and scalibility)

I am setting up a second machine as a server (and second games machine), I'll put my TNT Ultra on the second machine but want a new card for my server. I don't want to spend too much money on a graphics card but then again I don't want to be stuck later on. I am considering a Geforce 2 Mx but I know that there are some issues with bandwith. I have read the Anandtech reviews but it didn't really give me the answers I was looking for.

1. How much better is a Geforce 2 Mx than a TNT ultra (my current card)?
2. How well does a Geforce MX card scale up. (700 Mhz to 1 Ghz)?
3. Should I maybe just stick a TNT 2 M64 in the server/second machine?

Please keep in mind that I am from South Africa and the newer graphics cards aren't priced as competitively as in the US. The next better version of the Geforce 2 costs more than double that of the MX.

the 32mb sdr is a bit slower than the mx. however the 32mb ddr le is much faster and can be had for about $80, its is by far a beter card than the mx for almost any perpose.

I think it really depends on what resolution and bit depth you run your games at. At 1024x768 and 32bit resolution, the limited memory bandwidth just kills the MX. But at lower resolutions/color depth, it's not too bad.

A bit better, especially with texture compression enabled.

2. How well does a Geforce MX card scale up. (700 Mhz to 1 Ghz)?

It doesn't scale at all.

3. Should I maybe just stick a TNT 2 M64 in the server/second machine?

No way. Get a Radeon LE. It's almost the same price as an MX but it's much faster.
