GeForce 2 MX PCI FOUND!!!

I assume it will be only a tad slower than a AGP card from them. Look at Anand's V5 5500 PCI review, it was only a few fps lower than the AGP version if I remember correctly.

So that's good for people who don't have a AGP slot and need a new fast vid card.

The problem is that the V5 series does not impliment AGP. Meaning, that the V5 card only uses the higher bus transfer rate (2x PCI). V5 does not use system memory to store textures. (If I'm understanding perfectly clearly).

The Geforce series relies heavily on AGP implimentation. I expect more of a hit with the MX PCI than a V5 AGP vs PCI.

Darn! I just bought a Voodoo3 2000 PCI. I would have really preferred a GeForce2 MX, but none were out a week ago!

I have a CA810 mobo and 400 celeron, I have been searching high and low for this card since nvidia's FAQ says it can be done in PCI. Thanks, but now I'm searching for a review of this card. Has anyone seen one???
