GeForce 2 MX faster than GeForce 1 DDR?

In general, are benchmarks higher with GF2 MX cards than GF DDR cards?

I know you'll say, it depends on the brand name, but most generations of chipsets are virtually the same speed regardless of brand name (only a a few FPS difference between cards).

Anyway, if there are any articles comparing the two chipsets, with benchmarks i'd like to see them.

MX can be faster in certain games at lower resolutions becuase of the second generation T&L unit, but the geforce ddr's memory bandwith can pull it ahead at higher detail settings and at higher resolutions.

The GF1DDR is quite a bit faster, closer to a GF2 than a MX.

the extra bandwidth of the GF DDR kicks in at 1024x768 and 32bit, but the processing power of the GF2MX gives higher fps at 680 and 800

The GF DDR will spank a GF2 MX. The GF DDR is almost as powerful as a GF2 GTS.
