GF4 MX440.

but GF2 ultra is cheap, so GF2 is good enough for many 3d games, but G4MX440 gives you better DVD playback and probably better 3D performance.

the gf2ultra is clocked 30mhz ddr higher, but if you everclock, they should be able to make it up to about 250 mhz ddr. The gf4mx's core is pretty much the same wit the addition of better fsaa performance and dvd playback.

I would go with the gf4 unless you find the gf2 ultra as a great price, ie lower than 70 bucks.

The GF4 MX440 can also be overclocked well especially the Gainward. Your guaranteed to get 300mhz core and 450mhz memory without any extra cooling which is good overclocking by anybodies standard.

I'm not too familiar with the GF2 Ultra, but I have an Abit Siluro MX440 card and I've clocked it from the default 275/400 core/mem to 315/490. The MX440 is a fine card for its price, and plays today's games well, but will probably not do that well with tomorrow's games(DX8.1 that is). If you have a bit more to spare, go for the GF3 Ti200 or even better, the GF4 Ti4200.
