GeForce 2 GTS crash

Just bought this Nvidia Geforce2 GTS 64mb video card to replace my voodoo4.
Nightmare...
It will either crash or hang or came out with windows illegal operation error when i was trying to play games like CS and fifa.
It plays dvd well. Occassionally, i might get into the CS and fifa game and the quality is good.
But it keep crashing...ANyone know what is going on? please enlighten me..thanks

Abit VH6II motherboard
250watt power supply
pentium3 933mhz
512 mb ram
Geforce2 GTS 64mb video card

What driver verison are you using.?
What windows version?
What other HW is in your system?
What is the m'board chipset?

I am using the original driver that comes with the card
Ver 2k1212-6D
Using win98se
Other hardware: NIC, cdrw, dvdrom, wd hdd, samsung hdd.
VIA Apollo 133A chipset

Please help

Ok from memmory (I'm on a NT 4 box not 98)

Go into display prop. (right-click, etc)
Goto setting tab
Click Advanced Tab
Click Nvidia
Post version on screen on this forum :)

Is this a driver problem?
Let me explain futher,
when i am running 3d application, it will freeze and there came a black screen with a thin green line above.
Anyone experience this before?

Please help, i beg..

Also, make sure that the voodoo drivers are completely removed! Do a search in this forum to find out the best method.

There is a good change that it is a driver issue, patticularly if the driver is in fact a version 3.

Bersides there is no harm updating to 12.41

It's a driver problem. Get the latest driver for the geforce and get the Via 4-in-1 drivers like that was posted earlier.
