Which of these cards is better for 3D in 32 bit?? I have the Kryo2 card, but I hate it. I seems to give nice 3d in games, but sucks in windows. I want a card that has good dvd, game, and general good quality. I have an offer for the Geforce2 GTS, but I am not sure. It is 32MB less than my Kryo2 (64MB). LMK

KyroII

It does everything in 32bit. It does all rendering in 32bit, but if you select 16, it converts it to 16bit. I have not noticed a performance change in changing from 16 to 32. I get about 90 frames in q3 at 1280x1027x32. It womps at everything I have thrown at it. The sharpness is so nice. I am happpy with my k2. It is being replaced with a 8500 tomarrow. A kyroII can be had pretty cheap also. Newegg has one for I belive, 78$ shipped(hercules version).

What do you mean by, "sucks in Windows"? My brother has one and it's absolutely flawless all the way up to 1600x1200. Are you using the latest drivers? The only 2d Windows problem I know about is when running XP with old drivers. I really have no idea what you are talking about. 3D is better than acceptable too.

I had some problems with the Kyro in certain games but nothing that bad, the 2D was almost as good as my Elsa card and probably on a par with my previous herc GTS, creative thoough are not known for decent 2d in the GTS series only in the latter cards did it get better.
