I had:
celeron 566@878
256mb ram
1 32x cd drive, 1 8x8x32 cdrw
1 30 gig hd, 1 4.3 gig hd
tv tuner
2 nics
56k modem
ultra66 card
sb live
Elsa gladiac
and a 52 watt peltier under a pep66 hs
All on a old 235 watt PS, I don't really see the need for a 300w ps. You'll be just fine with the BX board.

It will work just fine on a BX board, and you don't need a huge power supply because the new GF based boards are manufactured on a 0.18 micron process. Hence they don't use very much power at all. I think the GF2 MX only uses 4W.

MX cards use 4W of power. GTS cards use 8W of power. The older Geforce 256 cards used 16W of power.
