i have yet to find a definitive answer about the geforce tearing/flickering problem. SOme said it was the bios, so i upgraded to the latest reference and still problems. SOme said to disable vsync, did that and now i get flickering plus tearing. What's up here?? is there something inherently wrong with the geforce chipset or what!!! Also, is it me or does the geforce have a problem with 32 bit textures, it is very jerky when for example the camera pans around a beautiful landscape.

I know someone who had a similar problem he had his AGP Apeture size set too high in the bios. Other than that try the 6.47 drivers. I used to have a small tearing issue until these drivers came out.

yea looks like its the aperture size......it should be 1/2 your system memory (i.e. if you have 128mb ram your aperture is best off at 64mb)

nah its not the aperture size, i got 256 mb ram and it is set to 128. Its not like the flickering happens every second, it is happens occasionally but it is still kinda annoying. I just cant put my finger on exactly what is causing it.
