anyone get a slight blur or ghosting running in 1600x1200@75? i have a viewsonic GS790 and i'm wondering if its the video card or the monitor. resolutions up to 1280x960 is fairly crisp.....

Unfortunately, it seems to be the case that many people are not satisfied with their Geforce's 2D display at the higher resolutions 🙁 Someone suggested putting the refresh rate down to 75Hz, but I see you already have that refresh rate. It's a shame really, if it wasn't for Nvidia's bad rep for high res 2D work, I probably would have upgraded my Voodoo 3 for a Geforce 2 a month or so ago.

I think you'll probably find that your card is not defective, and that it's a common problem...sorry.

On my work machine i can't go over 1280x1024 without it being blured on my 19" monitor. My G400 on my home machine is perfect on my 17" monitor even at 1600x1200, although everything is VERY small - i normally have it at 1280x1024.

As snow patrol says, Get used to it, as it's normal with the GForce cards.

I concurr. My dads ATI Rage Fury 32MB card knocks spots off of my GeForce DDR in 2D. NV20, better be better.

:frown:
