Does anyone use the Gefen HDTV Switcher or Gefen DVI/ADC Switcher? I'm trying to determine which one would be the best for use switching between my PC's DVI output as well as a DVD DVI output and VOOM satellite HDTV DVI output. Both are HDCP Pass-Through
The 4x1 HDTV switcher is $350 and says, "For computer users, the 4x1 HDTV Switcher is compatible with all DVI-equipped computers." The 4x1 DVI switcher is $850 and says, "Switch between four DVI, USB and audio sources." So is the DVI model a superset of the HDTV model since it's $500 more? What's missing in the HDTV model that would not make it worthwhile to use with a PC?
