Long story short....parent company won a lawsuit for something that happened years ago. Instead of holding on to the money, the parent company decided to split the money made from the lawsuit out to the front line employees and staff. Those that make the least money get the highest bonus percentage and most of management gets none.

Just awesome.

That's cool. Too many times the higher bonuses go to management and higher because they implement a % bonus. Awesome to see a company that works the other way around (which is the way it should be).

That is really cool of them. Most companies would reward the management and screw the workforce.

Too bad Atlanta is so far from DFW. 🙁

The company is JM Family. They're one of Fortune's top companies to work for. Awesome benefits and great work environment.

yeah i never understood when companies did this.

When i sold my business i gave a good portion to the people who worked for me. I know the only reason i was succesfull was because of the people i had working for me. If not for them i would have been out of business a long time ago and broke.

but then again i had a small company. I can see how it would be hard for a large company to do. I just think they should give back to the people that really make it a succes and not overpaid managment.
