I had an auction up for a Hallicrafters shortwave radio...
HERE.

Notice it says in big ole bold, underlined letters.........Paypal only.

So I get an email saying "I didn't notice it was Paypal only........can I pay with a check?"

charge them a 10% markup for check, and then claim you have to wait until it clears. 🙂 Or MO, that's pretty safe too.

It's a 1957 model.........got two given to me for the price of taking them out of the rack they were in. Believe me, they were quite buried on a shelf and took some gymnastics and some time to get both of them out. Both worked, amazingly enough.

I had one guy asking if I could ship to russia when in my auction said USA only. He actually won the auction. Then he told me he needed to contact someone else in the US for me to ship it to them. I guess they(the person in the US) wanted about $200 to recieve and reship to russia.
I remember reading about this deal at MSN before and its illegal and stuff.
Luckily I did a second chance. I didn't want to report the first person as a NPB because i didn't want to risk the negative feedback.
