1 being the lowest, 10 being the highest, how would you rate your strength as compared to the average person (of the same sex as you) ?

For the true geeks out there, feel free to give all your character stats Dungeons & Dragons style (3-18 point scale, strength, dexterity, etc.) ;)

I would say I have a strength of 6 for a 24 year old, 150lbs male. But I play hockey and my lower body and quads are extremely strong from all the skating I've done over the years. Can I avg the 2 out? :)

I'm quite the wimp. However, a lot of the guys I know are also wimps (even if they won't admit it), so I'd say 5 or 6, unless the guys I know are not indicative of the population at large.

What's average? A 5? If 5 is average and 10 is Captain America strength, I would say I was an 8. :)

What strength?

Physical strength, mental strength? :p Upper body, lower body? Specific muscles?

I'm 6'1 and 140lbs, got the 6-pack and toned muscles, the whole bit... I guess being that light does that to ya. I'm fairly confident that I'd win any fight against someone my age (17, almost 18 years old) unless they were relatively well trained in a martial art or some such thing.

I'll give myself a 7.5.

Probably around an 8-8.5 (that's comparing myself to people my age and relative size.) I'm 26, work out 3-5 times a week, weigh 165 pounds (max benching around 230-240), jogging nearly every day. I'm not big at all, actually rather slim, but I'm proud of the strength I've managed to build up over the last few years.

I guess I would rate myself at about a 8.5. I can bench 310, and weigh 260. I can leg press 1900 LB's once. one of the guys on my team could do 2300 a few times. We all stayed on his good side :)

Compared to the average 24 year old male I'd say about 8/10. Seems like 5 years ago all the guys my age worked out and now most can't be bothered! In terms of leg strength I'd say no more than about 6/10 though :( My legs suck and when everyone else years ago stopped working out I started to ignore my legs a bit :|

evadman benching 310 and assuming the rest of your body is similar in strength you've been spending too much time around the gym if you think you're only 8.5/10. Remember most adults are fat and don't do any excercise. Many males will never ever in their life be able to bench more than their own body weight even.

2-3. I'm a tennis player, so I don't need much in the way of strength. Still get more than my share of aces :D

Me too. Mine are trim and everything from running and regular workouts. But my overall build is skinny/slim in nature and my legs and arms are always that way no matter how much effort I put into them. Gotta love genetics.

Well, I'm a cross country runner that just this year broke the 130lb mark... What do you think.

If I had half your motivation to workout, I'd be golden.

I think I'm around a 6 or so. I can't bench much, but I've decked a few guys my size.

5'11 about 210lbs. bench about 380-390lbs and squat ~500lbs. I'd say I was about 9-9.5. And I also love schoolin' people who THINK they can fight. ;) Hey, and I also love chess and PCs too. Damn, how rounded can one person be. :D
