Geek Squad?

Interesting. I'd be curious to see what happens if I dropped a resume in the Phoenix area.

I actually work at best buy in the geek squad.. im not a "double agent" .. just "CIA".. but the double agent position is usually handed to a person internally.. best buy likes to promote already employed people instead of hire in new.. then bump up the chain and hire in the low end guy..

however the geek squad is awesome.. and because i know how the best buy service department is now.. i see the changes that will take place and i think it will be awesome from a employee aspect of things.

btw- you dont drop any resumes in.. its all done online- www.bestbuy.com (bottom - careers). good luck!

its not a too bad job even the reg. techs make $10.50/hr after 90 days..in bigger cities the base pay is about $13/hr..

one more not.. the double agents are a level 9 pay.. its about $20/hr.. not $25/hr.. i think he might be bragging a little bit.. the SA.. make a good $30-35/hr and the career path is obvious.

later guys

have any problems with midnight-run shifts ?

our location is just rolling out next wednesday.. weve had all our training and such.. im not the actual double agent.. but im sure he wont have a problem with midnight calls because no one will want to pay the high fee for that..but hey if he does.. im sure he will be glad to get the revenue.. at best buy its more like a team based thing.. the more revenue with gross margin percent the better.. the PI checks for shrink are awesome.. so we really work as a team.. the more the double agent can get out the better chance of getting an additional double agent.. and im probably going to try for this next one.. my driving record wasnt too great this run.. but we will see in the future im pretty sure 3 tickets come off within the next few months.
