how big a memory chip did that thing have...
i have never used the video function on my phone but i would guess video eats up memory fast..so by the time she came in locked the door undressed etc would the video have timed out or run out of memory?

do phones have a red light to indicate video recording, i thought that was camcorders?

There is a video earlier in the thread...

I know, I saw it, I looked twice, but I didn't see any evidence.

Although the camera never goes too far blow her face, you can just see the shape :)
She's somewhat chubby, and has massive mammaries. Too bad she's dumb as a rock.

Would've been funny if she went and took a dump and just used the shower thing as an excuse. Although if the guy was that desperate, he probably would have liked that all the same.

Maybe she already filmed a home video of her making sexy time on the internet but her sister found out so they made up this whole hoax to cover up and possible made millions.

I've said stupider things than "I went to the shower to take a shower" when speaking in public. Give her a break, guys. I mean, she has a nice rack.

Woah, wait a minute. How did she get the chip? Wrestle the phone away from the guy? The video proves that she was showering, and someone was video taping it, but it doesn't prove who was videotaping it. Unless they left that part out.

i bet they saw the cell on the floor of the bathroom (who hasn't had their cell drop out of their pockets at least once when they pull pants off for doing #2?)... and devised the plan

So this girl is dumb enough to not know how to fix her PC, but smart enough to know that you can remove the memory from the phone? :D

We don't really know what phone he had, but I think it would be hilarious if the tech had an old school phone or an older Blackberry that didn't even have a memory slot. :D

I call shens on the girl. :D

I'm not saying what he did was right, but what they did was not either.

So they should have just given him back the only evidence they had?

I suppose impounding a car used in a hit-and-run is wrong too. Even though there's blood and hair all over the bumper, hood, and windshield, and the guy has a ticket to a car wash in his hand ... I mean, you can't take his property, man. That would be just WRONG.

The police do that, not civilians. The fact is though that the SIM card or if it was a memory card in the phone was the Geek's personal property, thus the sisters and the guy at the verizon store had no right to access it or confiscate it.

If the police wanted to view it for evidence then they would have had to seized it legally and to actually view the contents of it would need a warrant. And who is to say the sisters didn't take the guy's phone and set it up in order to get a payout from a large corporation???

Geek shows up, goes into bathroom and sets up phone. Girl takes shower. Geek is working on computer. Girl takes and finishes shower, notices cell phone, sister comes into bathroom and takes memory card. Geek is working on computer. Girls go to Verizon Store, watch video and call? mother. Mother is apparantly at the house and stalls the Geek while the police show up.

That guy was there for a long time, when did he figure out that his hidden camera was missing the memory chip? The part that sounds hinkey to me is that he stays at the house while the girls leave and the mother has either been there the entire time or shows up, and he stays long enough for the cops to show up. He knew that they had him or he never could have tried to discount his services, but he stayed and worked on the computer/chit chatted?

I give her the benefit of the doubt, but when the video got to the part about the mother delaying him, something seemed off to me. Probably just need a better news source.

Well if he was billing hourly he would have been there all day.

I call shens all over this crap.

Seems to me the "sissssta" don't want to be on welfare the usual way of having too many kids, so this is the new retirement plan.

First of all, how the heck did the guy get into the bathroom while she's showering, unless the door is wide open. If that's the case, then it's probably planned or premeditated.

Secondly, just too many holes and the girls in the vid appears too hungry for the press, I seriously don't see "victim" coming out any of them.

That peepsquad guy was setup. BB will settle out of court, and hurray for the American Ambulance Chasing and Frivolous Law Suit Association for making this possible.

Maximum clip time depends on the particular phone, but relatively long times are not uncommon. My friend has a higher-end Sony Ericsson that's around year or two old, and he's said that video clip time is limited only by storage capacity (expandable). The RAZR V3i requires a SEEM edit to support arbitrary-length clips. I assume that the KRZR is the same or supports them out of the box.

1GB microSD cards are pretty cheap. 1GB of 640x480, 15fps Motion JPEG is just under an hour, and 320x240 or 160x120 are more common for phones.

The accusations sound fishy to me. Maybe the purchase records of the memory card will provide useful evidence.

What a cross-eyed hottie!

Too many holes to have a case, though. But knowing Allred:disgust:, she'll prolly get some kind of settlement.

How he got into the shower:

Asked to use the bathroom and left phone with video running in it in the off chance that one of the chicks would use it.

Would work on the computer till the bathroom is free again and then retrieve his phone saying he has to use the bathroom again, weak bladder.

Leaves with footage goes home; masturbates and uploads footage...

The guy is likely going to be in a lot more trouble when the seize his PC.

All that being said the lawsuit seems misdirected and more like public extortion but likely she will get some kind of payoff to get the bad publicity off the air. The lawyer looking for a payoff too.

Their have been cases in the news in the past where neighbors and "friends" have places cameras in other homes and got away with it as well as employers etc. So, I am not sure what the legality status or illegal status of this stuff is anymore. He didnt break in, etc.

I fail to see how Best Buy or Geek Squad is liable for any of this? Even if the tech guy is guilty as sin, these chicks are still money grubbing whores.

From the LA Times:

Suspicious, Vasquez left the bathroom to tell her sister Kelly and when she returned, the phone was gone. Kelly then found the phone in her bedroom. Believing the phone was programmed to record her as well, she removed its memory chip and she and Vasquez took it to a Verizon store to see what was on it.

"You could see him on the video setting it up," Vasquez said. "I was shocked."

The sisters called their stepfather, who reported Chi to police, and he was arrested at their house.
