Geek relationship question.

Hi everyone. Just looking for an opinion from everyone. I've got this one girl at work that I meet a few months back and work with her periodically (she's part time and on varying shifts, so I don't always get to see her) and she's really cool.

She's slightly taller than me, very petite, sweet, and Uber Geekette! I like that. Plus she plays a mean game of Unreal and CounterStrike.

Debating if I want to just remain friends with her or explore the possibility of taking it another level up. I respect our friendship a lot, but at the same time I wouldn't mind asking her out on at least one date. So I'm kinda confused. I don't want to ruin our friendship, but at the same time...well you get the picture.

So, what do you think? Should I at least try to ask her out on a date? Being a fellow geek makes this very hard.

That would be under the "Remain friends" listing.

and what's so bad about women who like computers? I think that's great. That is unless you go for the "Dumber is beater" type woman. I prefer the intelligent woman. Especially the Uber Geekette type.

Or whatever, no big deal...

I'm a geek and somehow I ended up with Thumper, so don't think it can't happen...

Hell, I wasn't even planning to ask her out, she seem far to "normal" for me (I'm weird).

Turns out she is even weirder than I am, which works just fine for me.

I'd ask her out. If she turns you down things maybe strange for a while, but that'll change with some time, and if you make the effort to keep it the same..
