Gears 3 on Insane....

Okay so me and my buddy we like to say we are pretty awesome at gears we are currently not able to hook up Xbox Live but we are playing Wingman, Horde, Beast, and just about everything else on Insane and The computer on Insane is just a joke....Does anyone else feel that way or are we just that good?

Yes lol seriously we do...We own it all like its nothing we got to level 25 the first time and stopped because it got boring....

You should pretty much retire from playing the AI and jump into MP. That's where you'll get to test your skills.
 
I will say that I went through the campaign on hardcore right off the bat and it did seem easier than Gears 2. I think it's because your AI squad mates actually kill stuff for you now. Haven't really tried horde or anything else.

Yeah, I played it on regular difficulty and found it fairly easy. Still a fun game though . . .
 
All hail the mighty Rainey, he can beat mindless AI. I agree with digiram, jump into some MP, that will let you know where you stand.

I'm decent, but not great in MP, but I've seen some people play that amazes me. Their movement and shit is crazy fluid. They know the exact angle to take for attacking enemies trying to hide and all that. The game has a ton of dept in mp.

Personally, my skills aren't that great. My play style is positioning. My goal is to get to or beat the oponent to the big gunz. Then, I set myself up to counter.

Trust me I would love to jump right into multiplayer lol but as you can read I'm in Afghanistan right now...fighting a war and stuff and we lack XBOX live but, a few days after I get back I'm gonna be on that like a fly on shit lol.... I am finding it on Hard to be easier than Gears 1 or 2...until we got to some gnarly lambent beast that oozes emulsion. It is so hard to kill.

WTF man,.. Our government is spending billions in this war, whats another $50 to buy our soldiers some LIVE accounts?? Infact Microsoft should give you guys gold accounts for free.
 
LoL yeah right...I wish lol but no its that the internet here doesn't allow us to get on Live or I would be all over it to embarass the shit out of people...
 
Finished Gears 3 on Hardcore and it does seem to be easier than Gears 1 and 2, mainly because of two things. Your teammates actually kill stuff and stay alive, there hasn't been terrible check points from what I could tell that has you grit your teeth in frustration. Running Gears 3 again in Insane now.

Only 2 spots are tough on insane, the one is when you get surrounded on the platform in "Brothers till the end" and the last boss.. man she can be horrid, it's random too, the first time I loaded it up there was reinforcements like crazy, shreekers and guards all over, reloaded the checkpoint many times just couldn't do it, reloaded the entire level and did it again, she had hardly any support that time and beat it without loading a checkpoint.
 
Damn, I just beat one of the hardest parts by far, well that I feel is the hardest, and that's when
you're about to hijack the air barge. It drops two queens guards at a time while firing instant kill missiles at you.
So far that is the most frustrating part.
