So I've decided on a 4200 128MB (fits my mix of gaming and future needs). But I've not bought a video card in ages... I've decided minimum is Analog, DVI, Video in/out, but it appears that's pretty much standard on the 128 MB versions.
That said, does the mfgr matter or is it all included software? How do these manufacturers stack up on support?
AOPEN GEFORCE4 128MB TI4200 DDR VGA WITH DVI VI&VO(VIDEO IN& OUT)
PINE XFX GEFORCE4 TI4200 128MB AGP DDR W/TV-OUT & DVI
ABIT GEFORCE4 128MB TI4200 AGP DDR WITH TV & DVI OUT
MSI GEFORCE4 (MS-8870-040) G4TI4200-TD 128MB 4XAGP DDR W/TV & DVI OUT
ASUS V8420-TD GEFORCE4 128MB AGP4X NVIDIA TI4200 DDR W/GAMES/TV/DVI OUT(Retail)
LEADTEK WINFAST A250 LE TD 128MB GEFORCE4 NVIDIA TI4200 DDR 4XAGP MY VIVO EDITION(VIDEO IN, TV OUT, DVI)
VISIONTEK GEFORCE4 TI4200 128MB AGP 4X/2X DDR NVIDIA W/S-VIDEO OUT (White Box)
VISIONTEK XTASY GEFORCE4 TI4200 128MB DDR AGP 4X/2X NVIDIA W/S-VIDEO OUT/DVI-I
I know enough to know that better support is worth the $20-40 up front, but that sometimes the $20-40 gets you worse support and more downtime.
Thanks!
