GDM-FW900 mega monitor...

I can't vouch for that particular model. However, I can tell you Sony is one of the top monitor manufacturers there is. They usually command a premium. But, if you can afford it you won't be dissapointed.

I have that monitor on my main workstation. I don't see any fuzzy text and the games are excellent too.
I run mine 1920 x 1200 @ 85Hz on my Radeon 8500 without problems.

I want that monitor. It's so big... I would get an 8500DV and turn my PC into my TV, DVD player, gaming center. =)

The truly wonderful thing about this monitor is that you can display two full pages rght next to each other. Simply awesome.

Had that too at one point. It's awesome but takes up too much space. The single monitor is sufficient for pretty much anything.

IgoByte when you play games, does the monitor give you increased FOV? Or does it just stretch the image..; I'm thinking of shooter type 3d games. Thanks for the info-

I would suppose it depends on settings in the game itself, and also on your video card, depending on how high of a resolution you can run in games and still get decent frame rates. For example, some people with Geforce 3's seem to be able to get excellent frame rates at 1600x1200. 🙂

I've got this monitor. It looks great with my Gainward GF3 Ti550. But with my Hercules GF2 Pro wasn't as nice. The difference was very, very small, and very hard to notice, but it was there. Your best bet is to use BNC cables with this. There is a noticable improvement when you use these.
