I'm getting the following error:
"The procedure entry point DdEntry1 could not be located in the dynamic link library GDI32.dll"
My gdi32.dll file is dated 3/23/04...I have some other versions, but am unable to simply copy and paste an older version, since windows is using the file.
I'm up on all my patches and security updates, etc. I've upgraded to the latest versions of various programs to try to resolve the issue. Nothing has worked yet.
I'm running Win 2k, SP4 on an Athlon XP2600+, 512MB of ram, with a fairly new installation of windows. (NTFS)
The issues seem to arise when I try to run a D3d program, like nVidia's NVMixer or various other programs using d3d. Dxdiag doesn't report any errors, but it doesn't seem to analyze GDI32.dll.
Any suggestions?
Can I boot to a command prompt and just copy an older file over the new one without windows complaining?
I can live without NVMixer, but would like to use MSTrain Sim
Thanks in advance.
