So, mine arrived today from Dell (I purchased it specifically to swap out with my GDDR1 version on a Clevo D900T laptop). I'm already seeing that I'm going to have to make some adjustments to make sure this thing works.

Don't have my camera on me right now, but will post pics of what it looks like when I get home.

Everything I've seen, though, says this should be a decent upgrade from the original, and I'm excited to get it in the lappie.

Watch here for before and after benchmarks, and some images of what it looks like (I'm pretty sure there are pics out on the web, but not 100% sure).

How can you order the ultra from dell? Did you have to call them up or somthing? Also, how do you replace your current one with this one? Would it be possible to do with a 9300 (which uses the 6800go regular)? How much did dell charge?

I had my Purchasing department have Dell SKU it out for me. I haven't replaced it, yet, so I'm not 100% sure how it's going to work. As far as whether it'll work for the 9300, I'll take pictures of what they sent and let you compare to what's in your 9300 to see if it's possible. Price was ~$400.

Only ones that were designed to be modular.

This is what the card looks like together. I took it apart already, but neglected to take any pictures.

Unfortunately, it's larger than the previous one, and doesn't fit into the laptop, so I'm just going to have to pick up a Gen2 XPS for it, I suppose (as this is what this specific card is coming from).
